The seafront in Worthing is ok, and the Crabshack is excellent, but the town centre is just depressing.

My view of the place isn't helped by the fact that when I was managing an U18 football team against Worthing, some of my players were threatened by spectators with knives after the game.

When spectators are allowed, I dare say I will take a trip to see Worthing play on their new 4G pitch and to witness the ground improvements.
I have met people who were/are connected with the club.
They are certainly well supported in terms of their attendances.

I was availing of some liquid refreshment tonight and I overheard some gentleman waxing lyrical about the Mahaan curry house in Worthing and in the past I have heard some people being complimentary about this establishment.

I have not visited this restaurant nor sampled its delights as a takeaway.

Have never had a bad meal at the Mahaan.
They still let us in - despite a worse for wear Mrs P chundering over their window one night.

Worthing FC is a great club. My lads team were mascots a coupe of years ago. The chairman has invested a lot of his money into it after being paralysed in a car crash - only a young chap. The ground, pitch, stands have all had a major revamp.

I'd thoroughly recommend a visit Willo.

You fed me, you bred me, I'll remember your name.

Thank you Pikester.

I last visited Worthing FC perhaps a couple of years ago, and saw them defeat Lewes 3-1.It was an evening game and I believe there were in the region of 1,100 in the ground.
Playing for Worthing in defence was a chap called Jalen Jones who had been in our Academy.
I intend to pay another visit when of course crowds are permitted to return.

Finally, another good recommendation for the Mahaan !

ive had quiet a few deliveries from Mahaan.
I think it depends on you preference, I like fairly to very hot & have had great Vindaloos & Naga dishes from them, plus very good chicken Pakora.
However, mrs Kd prefers flavour but not too hot, unfortuantly she did not rate their dhansak or bhuna at all.
I know you like Extra hot ! so you'll be ok fella.

Absolutely right.
This weekend I ordered a 'Chicken Vindaloo' with the instruction to make it "Extra hot" !
Has to be a curry which puts muscles on your breath !!
