So, how else do you explain their change of heart other than they didn’t fully understand the implications of buying a second rate team in the top division? It was you that said '' Thankfully we have a couple of early draft picks in the off season to improve our team. Well that’s what the yanks probably thought. They are still working out that you have to buy players in our quaint little game. '' I don't think they would part with millions of dollars of their own money without knowing how the game works. Would you ? As I said earlier, neither they or Parish have been forthcoming with how they view their investment and it would be good to know as it would manage our expectations.

Such a statement is exactly what has become conspicuous by its absence. Though you have not used the word, I nevertheless think that the question arising is whether we are 'owed' an explanation or not. As I've said before, if it compromises the club commercially in some way to speak openly on any given subject, then I'm happy for them to stay quiet. It is frustrating though.

Frankly, I don't think we are. Although when they first came on board ( pardon the pun ) we were being informed - everybody is keen to share positive news. Even though it has been reported that they wanted to sell their shares, I don't recall any comment from either them or Steve Parish on the subject.

I really wasn’t expecting anyone to take literally what I was posting which was said tongue in cheek, but posters on here never fail to surprise me with their lack of subtlety. I was simply over emphasising the point that they have miscalculated how to be successful in the PL.
