Interesting interview with Wilf on the club website. Accepted it will always have a positive angle, but he goes into some depth about how he has kept himself motivated this season and seems pretty genuine. I get the feeling he has come to terms with where he is at, and maybe realises the train has left the station for a move to a big CL club.

I saw it the same way Dave. If he is still waiting on the Selhurst station platform next season we have to hope the manager (whoever he may be) is able to re-motivate him.

How Arsenal chose Pepe @ 75 mill is beyond me... I’d rather have Wilf any day of the week... yes he’s younger but I just don’t think he’s as good...I think Wilf thinks so too...I still think he’s a huge asset...he comes up with stuff that’s beyond others!

Any manager that can remotivate Wilf, is already a legend. Add a new (more alert) striker, Conor Gallagher from Chelsea and a young central defender - then we talk business.
