This time next year we will be relegated but at least we played good "exciting" attacking football and spend the next 5-10 years playing championship football! We are pretty much out of relegation saviours now when we go through a run of games we loose

Thing is & its easy to say this in hindsight, but, it could've been prevented 4/5/6 years ago when the owners had the opportunity to invest & upgrade properly. Instead we bought in the likes of Pullis & Big Sam to bail us out & keep us up. Then came Roy, a safe pair of hands, too safe imo, allowing the owners to sit back enjoy the trappings of being in the most money laden league in the world & keep their respective wallets shut, & where has it got us, declining quality of football, no investment in the current 1st team squad, declining standards of training, tactics, motivation & worst of all, a shed load of contracts all expiring at once. If, at the end of next season we do(finally) go down, i hope we see a more exciting brand of football played, players with ambition, willingness to WANT to play for our club, the shirt, the badge. Like most(all) of you, i pay good money to watch these overpaid prima-donnas entertain me, & by christ we aint been entertained for 3 seasons now. Anyhoo, hope to hi to some of you all on Weds.

That is the rub of sporting endeavour sometimes.

I think 41 points will be our final total. Right on cue Grealish is fit again and Watkins has finished his ban, the Arse are re-vitalised after their win at Chelsea and the Scousers will have to win their last game for a top 4 finish. It's deja vu pretty much like the ending of last season.

A great way for Roy to finish his time at the club would be for him to recreate Crystanbul and lead us to a draw or victory over Liverpool, denying them CL football and leaving the fans with a smile on their faces.

A nice thought. Started drinking early today? If Pulis can mastermind it I'm pretty sure Roy can.
