Roy is staying on and I think a lot of you need to come to terms with that.

I doubt it very much Eddie , especillay when the crowds get back in . I know Steve is a bit thick skinned but he will have to listen to the constant abuse every home game . In his own words before the sacking of FDB " it a results bassed job and every manager knows that " i just cant see Roy getting the results . He has done what he is paid to do and that is to keep us in the league but i just cant see him doing that next season .

Looks like it is correct. I am in Phase 4 and have been offered the chance to buy one!

I would like Roy to get another year simply to see the Roy Out brigade absolutely freaking out and losing their sh!t on here.

The gnashing of teeth would generate enough electricity to power a small town through the winter.

Talk of not renewing season tickets etc etc would crank up to 11 on the Spinal Tap volume dial

Hodgson made his reputation based on producing solidly organised teams that were well drilled with all the players knowing their roles.
Can anybody really claim that this has been the Palace of the majority of the last couple of seasons?
Our goal difference this season is minus 22 which is really unusual for a Hodgson team.
We appear clueless for long periods in games.
If Schlupp is anything he’s a left sided player in an attacking midfield role.
Yet Hodgson persists in trying him in central midfield and has even played him on the right. Anywhere but on the left.
Neither Schlupp nor Jairo have looked comfortable in central midfield yet Hodgson persists with them there even with a genuine central midfielder Mcarthy fit and available on the bench.
Ayew is most comfortable as a front man battling defenders and working across the line.
And yet Hodgson tries to shoehorn him in on the right where he continually goes walkabout leaving huge gaps on the right.
He throws Mateta and/ot Batshuayi on at the end games with no pattern or methodology. It all looks a bit Sunday League.

It’s time for a change of manager and it looks like this will be the end of the season.

Well said but our Palace fans, some still want Roy yet again for another season!!

Why has Kelly not played instead of Dann?

Wilf seems bored sh....less of Roys tactics

EZE so true but Roy has his fantastic ideas where to play players!!

Im there on Wednesday, we can say Goodbye to Roy!!

Going back in recent time, there was banner put up outside the training ground from members of the Ultras. It was quickly taken down.

One phrase remains with me: This is not the Palace way!

Regardless of polarised views, I strongly believe that if we had fans in the stadium, the uproar would exceed the usual high volume of noise form SE25.

*We want to remain in the Premiership
*Roy stabilised the club and we are all grateful

The Palace way and I have been at Selhurst since 1972 has been to play entertaining attractive football. In that time we have probably lost more than we have won.

Whilst we remain in the Premiership- (Thanks to managers past and present), what we have now is ugly, negative and plainly depressing.

* We have a lot of 'dead wood' now where hopefully we will thank them for their services but they will go elsewhere at the end of their contract.
* The fans are not stupid; there needs to be more communication. When Hodgson continues to say:" I will tell all at the end of the season" is frustrating. One can only presume he is leaving.

*Uncertainty with fans creates more frustration. Communication is everything.

I only speak for myself; my opinions are my own! I would like to see a renewal of the squad. Defensively, we were shocking last night. Surely, Scott Dann has reached the end of the road at Palace?
Too many players out of position. I feel gutted for Eze. Will he ever play in a position to affect and influence our game?
Has Wilf Zaha given up; his decline is marked and noticeable, or am I just reading his play incorrectly at the end of a long season?

Finally, I would like an injection of new and younger players.
I would like a new manager who has new ideas, new energy and has higher expectations.
Let's have a return of The Palace Way.......please!

Great start with Bens goal, then what?
Seriously same old tactics from Roy, does he know nothing else?

Where is the spark?

Let Ray take charge for next 3 matches and let the lucky fans to get to see the last home match and say Goodbye to Roy.

Ive had enough of Roys football all season.. surely even the most loyal of Roys supporters have had enough now?

Thought we played well, we were the ones actually pressing they just had Ings who knows where to be and what to do.

Typical fickle ungrateful and naive comment from a typical football fan with a short memory. The man deserves some respect regardless of what the future holds in the summer.
This club has enjoyed 4 seasons in the top division because of Roy Hodgson.
There are not too many managers that would have been interested in coming to Palace and picking up the pieces after the mess Frank De Boer left behind. Still, I suppose you'd prefer De Boer as long as you're entertained right?
Let me explain. Football: driven by money, Money: in the top division. Staying in the top division (with the type of players that Freedman, Sam and Pulis have signed): have to play to strengths, soak up pressure, hit on the counter.

When are people going to realise changing the manager is not going to make any difference to the way we play until we sign more players that are comfortable on the ball and in possession.

Due to the amount of players out of contract at the end of the season we are going to be at a transitional point in the summer whether we like it or not.
If we are to attract new players on say 3 year contracts then it might be easier to get the players that we want with a manager who is on a similar contract. Nothing to do with Roys ability or what he has done for us but there has got to be a time when he leaves and now seems to be about right.

Agree with this. Well said sir. Our worst season so far has been 41points in 2016-17 courtesy of Pardew and Allardyce who spent £85mil between them.
