I think it’s been obvious for a long time!! Hence why we’ve been hammered a few times this season and out played by average sides. Players/mercenaries know they’re leaving and need a new club. Benteke’s the only one who’s playing like he wants to stay....and I never thought I’d be saying that

Made in Bromley

But they haven't done a sub-par job. We are safe from relegation, have been all year, and that's what was asked of them.

Precisely.

More likely is the fact that due to the radio silence from the management they have no idea whether they are leaving or not

That should signal the exit door for Hodgson going on record as pretty much saying that some of his players won't give 100% now.
Get rid of the man!

Whilst he normally blames everyone but himself, it's unusual for him to turn on the players.

It's hardly surprising the team isn't motivated, many players don't get a look in whilst the favourites never get dropped no matter how bad their form is. Lot's of expiring contracts, poor tactics, no subs, manager out of contracts, Ray's balling on the touchline is a complete throwback, whilst Roy tries to motivate the players with a gormless owl impression.

We had a brief insight last year with pictures of Roy in the dressing room at Wolves with the team. No one seemed interested then.

He certainly gives that impression. Decent England players turned into clueless numpties but it's their fault for not following the script. Astronauts and monkeys. Eh?

Between the relatively consistent rumours of his desire to leave and his awful performances all season, what you say makes sense. Funny how someone like PVA doesn't want to play, whilst someone like Benteke has got his finger out in the same circumstances. Opposite ends of the spectrum really.

I suppose it depends on whether they believe thay can 'do better' than Palace.

I'm up for giving Benteke another year. At least then he is always playing for another contract, and he wouldn't be on the huge wages he is now.

But in your eyes, it's all Hodgson's fault.

And I don't know if you watch tv with the sound turned down, but you will find that every teams coach bawls instructions / encouragement from the touchline.

And in your typical fashion you have to aim a disrespectful, personal remark at the manager just because you don't like the football his team plays.

Shame on you

well yesterday of our starting 11 we had Ward, Cahill, McCarthy, Townsend and Tekkers starting who are out of contract.

So 5 out of 11.

There was no lack of desire and effort - although this has not always been the case.

The article is a bizarre one - we lose so Roy questions the sub bench??
