My bro met him at a golf course last week, said he would be fit to play against Liverpool but is going to give it a miss then have a good pre season and be ready for the new season in August I think you'll find if the medical staff at the club pass a player as fit for selection then it is then the managers decision wether to play him or not. Highly paid footballers forfeit the right to " give it a miss".

he's been a great servant, the fact we miss him so much reveals the paucity of our midfield, still puts in a shift, but he's past it.

No way can he play as many games as he has in the past but would be very valuable squad player and would help any young players

Yes, he's been a good 'servant' (odd word: these are very well paid servants).

Never got going category? Jimmy Mc has been a major loss for us this season. I’m nearly sure I read that last season he committed the most fouls in the division with the least bookings. He is great at breaking up play.

Mc,Arthur, has been brilliant for us over the period he has been here. But at 34 going forward he can’t be the future, even though I think his contract doesn’t end just yet. His situation is part of Palaces most pressing dilemma , as with other parts of the team we haven’t been. looking to replace his ageing legs before he becomes no longer able to be effective throughout 90 minutes, and then only in some form of rotation.
