What for? so he can go MIA until the last month of next season?

We keep hearing 'get the crosses in and he will score' but for all this season when the crosses have come in he's either not been there for them, or we hear 'he's lost his confidence' Suddenly, last month of contract, he's scoring for fun, just as he did last season......

I agree. This is 'playing for a new contract' at its most cynical.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham

agreed. If we give Benteke a new contract he will do a Mesut Ozil, get the pipe & slippers.

A person's behaviour in the past is always the best predictor for their future.

Usual immobile at the back when threatened with any sort of pace or movement. God help us in our last two games

terrible defensive display, Ward has no idea about man marking instead he just ball watches and Mitchell poor clearance for first goal!

our leaky defence is barely fit for League One

Pretty sure it was Cahills terrible header clearance for the first one.

Ward totally at fault for the 2nd.

We are being torn apart in wide positions.

Every corner and an A.Villa head gets to the ball first.

We saw at Southampton how they almost scored twice when we defended in a narrow block the ball came out to a Southampton player out wider and we were indebted to Guiata.
Same again today, for A.Villa's second goal when Ward gets sucked into the centre to try and win the ball leaving El Ghazi totally free behind him.Awful disorganised defending.

We've finally realised if we cross it, Tekkers can score.

That positive is wiped out by our poor defending, always our strength. What's happened back there?

2 crosses, two headers, one goal. TBF that’s not a bad average.

You might jump to the conclusion that we've not been playing to his strengths.

He'll probably get subbed off for Hennessey if we go 3-1 down.

It was a poor header but McCarthy never got out to McGinn quickly and the shot deflected off McCarthy.
McCarthy has not played many games of late and has been found wanting. He will be replaced.

When you see that second goal for them, you can only wonder that we have been so comfortable in the league all season. Individually the components of our defence are really not very good. Not very good at all.
