Unfortunately with Eze out we’re back to relying on him unless we find another play maker. Zaha is lazy at times. He’s rather moan than get stuck in. Townsend worked his socks of in comparison. I thought Townsend and Benteke did well tonight. Not much else to shout about from midfield forward. Good to see Tomkins back. I thought he looked solid with Cahill. Mitchell is growing into the role. Unfortunately Ward is error prone and when he loses his man doesn’t have the pace to get back.

Ah well. A summer to relax. Then who knows what next season will bring.
