I think he gets a lot of unjustified criticism on here. He also gets precious little support from his team mates. Often finds space but doesn't get the pass. He's not a great player by any means, but he always looks for the ball and shows spirit which is more than can be said for CB. I want him to stay and be given more game time - in a position that suits him. Maybe his big brother will join him from Swansea!
Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled. |

Whoever the new manager is I can’t see Ayew getting a look in next season. He’s a championship standard player at best.

I just don't see a place for Ayew in the first team, he isn't a wide player, not good enough for central midfield, and if we get another striker he would be third choice at the most, and we lose him for the AN,
“That’s a joke son, I say, that’s a joke.” “Nice boy, but he’s sharp as a throw pillow.” “He’s so dumb he thinks a Mexican border pays rent” “ “Son… I say, son, some people are so narrow minded they can look through a keyhole with both eyes.”__ Forhorn Leghorn |

Very very wrong. Agreed he is the Kouyate of our foward players. At a push he can play anywhere and has a good work rate he may not be first name on the team sheet but I bet PV will come to love him as did Roy. A great squad player.

He played well yesterday, linked up play, offered us an outlet, his close control and dribbling is excellent and he holds onto the ball and brings others into the attack nicely, He always seems to give his all, doesn’t suffer from tantrums and strops and pops up from time to time with some much needed goals. And value for money, he has been excellent. I think he can still offer us something for the coming season.

Yes he runs around a lot and he gets a lot of free kicks, which is good. But what position suits him? He isn't talented enough to be a PL quality attacking midfielder and he isn't a striker really. He seems to have a phobia about entering the penalty box. Its an odd one.

Couldn't agree more, apart from drawing fouls he offers nothing, he's just good enough to not look lost in the prem, for me that's not prem quality.
