He had his Covid party and well documented problems with the national team.

Personally I wish he was one of the many whose contract expires next month.

His main value was as a penalty taker but he lost that crown against Southampton.
He hasn't the skill to command and dominate midfield and his corners have been abysmal. I query his captaincy credentials. If he was any good he'd taken Zaha under his wing and prevented several needless bookings but, what can you expect when he himself is our own 'most highly booked' player. Many received for unnecessary tackles.

I hope the new manager sees his limitations and if the player has any value get rid.

New manager will sort him out.
Or turf him out.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I noticed the drop in his form (he is ALWAYS the weak link) after the Russia World Cup … he got dropped and it has affected him.

They say hard work never hurt anyone ... but why take a chance?

He has provided some top quality set pieces and was a near perfect penalty taker, but things move on.
Is now a yellow card or worse waiting to happen & is lacking severely in passing ability.
Hopefully can be upgraded. Riedewald a better option now.

Just not true.

His 'Pass success' rate in the PL last season was 83%.

Absolutely is true! Luka’s passing this season has been diabolical. Along with his lack of pace, poor set pieces, discipline, leadership and general attitude. 1 goal and 1 assist for a central midfielder is piss poor by any standard.

If he has personal issues that have affected his game then he shouldn’t have been playing and certainly shouldn’t have been captain.

I don’t recall another player who’s form has fallen so far, so quickly. From being one of our best players in 2018-19 season he is now easily our biggest liability.

Can you seriously see Zaha, who is 28 himself and frustrated at still being with his boyhood club, being taken under anyone’s wing ?

That said the best protection I’ve seen him given recently was the treatment Ward-Prowse got from McCarthy in the opening game.

I think Luka has been decent and bargain for us at £10mil but his legs have gone.

1 assist, 1 goal & 19 shots in 38 games nothing to write home about.
Should also have added the word 'forward' when talking about his passing.

What’s the point here????

Gary Cahill also has 83% passing accuracy, 1 goal and 1assist. Passing accuracy is a pointless f***ing stat if the passes are going sideways and backwards.

Why don’t you take a look at JWP on your new favourite website?

Similar teams, both are primary set piece takers and captains so will likely play most games.

87% passing accuracy, 7 assists and 8 goals. Can not stand him as a player but he is miles ahead of Luka is every facet of the game.
