As was stated above, Luka's father has recently died. Give the man some slack.

Well he broke the COVID rules and should have had his contract ripped up.

Over covid? Really?

A telling off which that probably has already been done.

I wouldnt even fine him, a telling off is good enough.

Let him come back when he is ready and we will see how he plays.

That wouldn't be sensible, ripping up a contract over covid rules breach.

No other team has done that and why should they, should't be punished for a mistake.

Some real strong leaps there. I thought the ‘partying’ / COVID breach was two very tested players, and their close families meeting up over Christmas, a stupid mistake yes, but a real leap to turn one incident into a lifestyle accusation.
I know people who caught COVID and their outcome have been highly variable, In lauding no after affects, minor re-occurring issues (fatigue and coordination), multiple hospitalisations across months afterwards, and tragically death. Hopefully Luke has no side affects, but equally he may have.
The illness and now death of somebody close is also something I would not wish on anyone, and would cut them considerable slack to get over.

But ho hum, you go for the jugular

I didn't at all, you must have some kind of problem or you can't read. You obviously have your own issues over Covid.

I think the Government and Companies should have taken a more draconian view and that would have made a second lockdown unnecessary. Still no one agrees on everything but I think It WOULD have been VERY sensible.

PV was very quick to divert any discussion about Luka in an interview the other day. It all seems a tad mysterious, almost as if they're trying to hide the truth.

There's no doubt his best playing days are behind him and I wouldn't be sorry to see him go, but I wish him well if he is dealing with family issues.

Lol, what tosh. There's NO doubt is there? Love concrete statements like this.

Well there's no doubt in my mind, if that sounds better. If you think differently, that's fine.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Much better

(For the record, I do think differently. He's got undoubted quality. For whatever reason, we didn't see as much of it last season. But I wouldn't write him off just yet.)

A draconian view or breaking our contract with Lula?
