out of all the management appointments i have seen in my time, with an excitement rating of trevor francis being a 1, and el tel being a 8. i would out vieira would be a 6. basically, this means i have never, ever been excited about a managerial appointment in 34+ years supporting palace…actually i was optimistic about alan smith 2nd time around but he soon knocked that out of me!

Not my choice tbh but if it is PV then I'm 100% behind him..if you'll pardon the expression. Looking at our first few fixtures the poor guy will be on a hiding to nothing but reckon we'll get some half decent French players and Arsenal seconds in and possibly be sponsored by French Connection (good film too)

Whatever we are doing it is time to do it. Everton and even the Spuds are sorted. Other clubs e.g. Arsenal and Leicester, starting to land transfer targets. There was a small window for faffing about due to the Euros and Copa America but its pretty much gone.
