As for me, I don't believe in 'anti racism', because I believe the concept, like egalitarianism itself, is fundamentally flawed and contradictory. However, there are aspects of it that I like....like the worth of human life (which is why I'm generally anti abortion). However, what you think is being a 'nice person' involves a system that is pretty nasty to people who don't agree with it......whereas someone like me accepts the right of everyone to hold different views. Indeed, I think the better solution is that ideologically people should be able to live in places that reflect their beliefs......which is kind of happening as we speak in America for example. The differences between California and Texas for example really reflect different ways of seeing the world. I do it because i can, whenever I can. There were years past where a meal was a struggle for me and my wife and daughter. Beans on toast for a week. They may actually be better off than me and blagging it.
