I think there are similarities between Zaha and Lookman. Both were transfered to big clubs young and both never really settled at Man U and Everton respectively. The major difference is that Zaha was able to come back to a club that loved him and would support him. Lookman couldn't move back to Charlton as they didn't have money to have him back.

Lookman looked good in spells at all the clubs he has been at but looked fairly settled at Fulham and was performing well in a poor team.

I get the feeling he needs to be loved and supported by his club and supporters. I am not sure if PV is that sort of manager and that is my only concern. Lookman is a London Lad and like Wilf moving back to capital probably near his family will help.

We need an alternative to Zaha both for injuries, loss of form and potential suspensions (or of course if he leaves). Lookman to me looks like a perfect fit in this regard so provided his fee and salary are not excessive I think it is arisk worth taking
