Kelly is the worst player to play for Palace in the last 5 years and the only thing Jach ever did is score a great pen. I will take this with a pinch of salt because anyone considering Kelly as a footballer has frankly not been paying much attention.

Hence my joke about Jach being useful as a training ground dummy. Never mind.

Kelly is fine. Not earth shattering but fine. One could argue that if you consider Kelly to be the worst player from the last five years then perhaps the opportunity to pay a little more attention should be shared around between us.

None of which matters if Andersen arrives of course. Do we have anyone live in Sainsbury's car park?

Not even close to being true. Kelly has never let us down when called in to play CH. He struggled when played as a FB, but always gave 100%. He was in the England set up for a while and won one cap, so really cannot be so bad.

For the avoidance of doubt any comments in response to a previous post are directed to its ideas and not at any, or all, posters personally.

I like Kelly. He always gives his all. But his ability is limited.

There were a few times under Pardew when he was caught out, particularly when he was being asked to fill in at left back.

One clanger that springs to mind was an end of season game at Liverpool.

We've definitely had worse players. As a £1m signing way back when he's been great value for the club. As long as players give there all that's good enough for me. If they don't have the ability to play at this level, then that manager that signed them should take accountability.

Kelly with a suitable partner is more than good enough for us. OK, he gave a goal at Anfield a couple of seasons ago (we still won). Other than that, very solid CD.
Labelling him as "our worst ever player" must be a joke.
