That will finally put an end to the annual Tufan to Palace rumours then. Tufan looked very slow and lazy for Turkey and to use a mattteo-ism, a bit fat. Maybe we'll see what we missed out on though.

With regard to Hughes, Ł7m or less for a proven PL midfielder in his prime is surely a good deal? Not sure why he would be so keen to switch Watford for us given our similar standing, but there you go.

Reported we offered Ł5m and not a penny more….it was rejected. If that’s true then this ones dead ….time to move on SP won’t be going back he never does.

Impossible to know the truth of that. Parish, doesn’t make a habit of publishing his offers for players,. Just watched Bielsa, on Sky, say he didn’t think Leeds would be signing anyone else , as prices were to high. Impossible to know the truth of that. Parish, doesn’t make a habit of publishing his offers for players,. In any case put like that ,that’s not a first offer, it’s a final offer and not likely to be done in that way for a player you actually wanted.
Just watched Bielsa, on Sky, say he didn’t think Leeds would be signing anyone else , as prices were to high. Two things come to mind ,one is would that make O,Brian, available to us, if we paid the price?And does this explain Watford apparently over pricing Hughes?

Starting to get a little nervous about the quality of the squad, almost in bedwetting territory I know with plenty of time yet. With Eze and Olise our first 11 im good with, outside of that I do think we are struggling as it stands.
