I liked him, gave us an edge that we didn't have elsewhere in the team. His injury record however....

Wish him well at Celtic. He is a Hoops fan so pleased he gets a chance to play for them. God he is going to need it as that is a club in a woeful position financially and struggling on the field.

MacArthur is a blue nose through and through. Good luck to McCarthy... I actually thought he put in some solid performances for us at times. His work rate is superb. He just can't stay fit. As others have said he's absolutely laughing. A 4 year contract will take him up to nearly 35 years old and with his injury record that's quite something.
Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!! |

As other have said good luck to him the contract with Celtic will be a fraction of what he was paid at Palace the standard of football will also be a lot less than previously experienced.
