I may regret saying this come 5pm on Saturday but I think some people are reading too much into the Brentford result. Arsenal are a middle of the table team and have been for some years. They were also missing some key players so it wasn’t that big a surprise. Two seasons ago Norwich started off well including winning against Man, City but still went down. As someone else stated, we will probably never field as week a team as we did on Saturday for the rest of the season so it’s way too soon to start talking about relegation.

Brentford may replicate Sheffield Unitedæs first PL season with their style of play (and red and white shirts).
Hope we not underestimate them come Saturday - to go down Norwich, Watford and Burnley.

Brentford played well against Arsenal, but if Arsenal had someone up front to stick it in the net,it would have been a different story.

The newcomers to the Premiership got off to a flyer, let’s see what they are made of next Saturday…

We'll be fine on Saturday then

Palace since 19 August 1972. Palace 1 (Tony Taylor) Liverpool 1 (Emlyn Hughes)

In all honesty, a lot of football fans are reactive and emotionally driven.

Brentford when looking at the Arsenal game scored two goals from some real school boy defending.

Goal 1 - chambers should’ve let the ball go out, he kept it in and Brentford regained possession and scored.

Goal 2 - defenders let the ball bounce in their penalty area.

It was literally men against Arsenal boys.

I don’t think we will lose or have any such problems as to gift them two goals as Arsenal did. I’m quite confident in face that we will win the game and then we will get the ‘reactive and emotionally driven fans - glorifying the tactics, manager, individual players and stating that we we easily stay up this season. 😂

Well, after yesterday us and any other two.

True dat. Can't see Chelsea picking up points anywhere else this season.

Burnley look extremely nervy, fragile at the back and they haven’t won at home for 12 games now

From what I have seen so far: Norwich, Watford, Burnley, Newcastle and Southampton. I think Brentford may be ok but squad not great in depth so injuries could be an issue.
Everton seemed to have sussed out Brighton’s way of playing, if others follow suit they may be in trouble.
We should be ok but need a few signings and start scoring more, defensively think we are fine

Norwich for sure.

Watford, Burnley, Newcastle and Brentford also contenders. Southampton will be safe good signings in Armstrong, Livramento and loan deal for Broja.

I think Brentford will survive just about providing no serious injuries.

Watford, Burnley, Newcastle one of those two teams will join Norwich.

Arsenal, Arsenal and possibly Arsenal.

Wife beating may be socially acceptable in Sheffield, but it is a different matter in Cheltenham
