One of my favourite comedians. Such sad news.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.

Floored by this. Didn’t even realise he was ill. One of the very best to ever do it.

Blimey. Great on 9 out of 10 cats. Really funny.

Which type of cancer?

I remember the 9 out of 10 cats guests laughing after he said he put sun lotion on when he was a builder on building sites. He explained it was because he’d already had skin cancer.

Very sad, and at just 58 years. First saw him in '15 Storeys High' which I thought was brilliant. A very funny man, such a shame. RIP

I recall that too, It might have returned and spread. Unlucky if so. Terribly sad either way.

Very sad news. Had no idea he was ill. He was a great comedian. I always felt he was a bit underrated and never really got the recognition he deserved. RIP Sean.

Kept it very quiet. A bit like the Bowie situation. Both dignified yet untimely .

Agreed. I mean don't get me wrong if someone is dying and they want to tell the world then that's up to them and who the hell am I to judge but like the situation with Bowie I have the greatest respect for dignity.

God forbid it never happens I personally wouldn't tell anyone except my family if I were to find myself in that situation.
