If you equate this to last season, we drew 0 - 0 at home to Fulham.

If I manage to get over a game this season, I'll be bringing barn door with us to see if Benteke or Ayew can hit it.

Point on the board.

Other teams in the league are also understrength, we need to hope they don't improve.

However, clean sheet's a clean sheet. No wonder saves from Guaita though the crossbar saved us (and them!).

We managed to pick it up before the end and look ok. Let's hope we get some proper players in before the window ends. Sakho, Luka and PVA saved us a few years ago when we looked in dire straits so new personnel can change it up.

I ain't got nuthin' funny to say. Sorry.

Already better than FdB and, I believe, Hodgson after two games.

Beat me to it - that comment!
I thought it was OK, steady performance.

All things considered. We did ok today.

McCarthur showing how much he was missed last season and anyone who thinks he is finished at this level needs to think again. Class act!

Andersen and Guehi looked composed and untroubled for the most part. Excellent on the ball but neither look too sure in the air.

Gallagher has nailed his spot in the side after 1 game, he was excellent.

Kouyate sorted himself out second half and was a lot better.

Wilf was diabolical, Schlupp not much better.

We need 2 new full backs as all of ours are not good enough.

Really, really good to see him stroking the ball around and dictating the play. What we've needed for years. Super early shout but reckon he could be a POTY contender for us this season.

We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold...

Brentford are playing their best footy right now relative to the teams likely around them and have just come off the back of a 2-0 win over Arsenal.

Palace are playing their first game at home under new management with significant new players and have just come off a stuffing to Chelsea.

This is not a bad result at this stage of the season. Anyone who thinks otherwise have obviously filtered out the home stuffing to Huddersfied a few seasons back.

And look what happened to them...

They came for a draw. They were time wasting in the first half ffs.

We found no space and Zaha had 3 guys around him at all times.

They were quite negative and defensive, and we couldn’t break them down.

Looks like their approach worked. It's a shame we couldn't get something from it. Ideally this isn't the kind of game we want a draw from, but definitely moments of promise too.

We have new young players, and we already look better than we did last year. I think people forget how woeful we looked in most games last year. We were ridiculously lucky to get the points we did.

There are some concerns, mainly Wilf's play, but I remain optimistic.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

Tbh I'd agree with this. It takes a while to bed in and at least a youth approach is forward thinking and positive, under Roy we lacked that.
