I sure hope not. We have seen enough of these to last a lifetime and I don't think Viera is the answer.
I'm betting he'll be gone before Christmas, probably sooner. Oh dear!!

I wouldn't waste your money, Vieira will still be here unless Arsenal make him an offer he can't refuse.

On the plus side about yesterdays result, it looks like we are going for the f.a. cup!

What he needs is clear to many of us. That’s been the case since before pre season. It’s also by his own word been made very clear that he has no doubt about what he needs.
It wouldn’t seem likely he didn’t always know what was needed, even when he took the job. On the basis of that if he was promised a lot more than he has had so far and it doesn’t materialise, then his relationship with the board could get very fractious , in particular if things are going really badly.
If we have hired him to try to take the club forward on the least amount of input , as Hodgson, was it won’t last long. There is six days left to give the man a fair chance, let’s hope they are well used.

Can't keep using that as an excuse.

Look what Roy did with far less.

We are not even organized this is why we are leaking goals it was clear to see in pre season as well.

it is far to early to tell…he needs more players, however when he came in he knew he wouldnt get unlimited funds.

bentekkers needs crosses…mateta looks looks too raw…ayew is s***

plain & simple we need to put all our eggs into a striker andtake yannick to cover olise & eze injuries.

We need to stop looking for bargains and get some quality in asap. No what any manager does if we don't have the quality then we will struggle.

He needs time which unfortunately no manager gets in the prem, we have a massive rebuild and he will need another couple of transfer windows. Not sure how much money we've got but the board need to back him, get lookman and edouard and make a statement of intent.

I'd try 4-4-2 with Benteke and Ayew up front. Ben to knock down and Ayew to score. Ayew just doesn't appear happy or good enough to be the sole target man, while Benteke can.

Could be the next Wright and Bright

Fine margins.....

Benteke 'put the ball on his head and he'll score' had a very good chance against Brentford and Watford. If he'd taken those chances we'd have 3 points, probably still be in the cup and saying how well PV is doing...

It would be familiar territory, but at the same time I think teething problems were always likely and adjustments will be made. I'm not doom or gloom right now or half kicking Vieira out of the door before he's been given time to bed in. I know managers are often the fall guys but he needs and deserves time.
