Nor am I but it'd be nice to have a player who actually wants to be in the team.
Actually wonder if Eze, and now Gallagher, coming in has made Wilf think his days as the Golden Child have peaked and that's not helping his mood either.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

Sorry Wilf but stop whining, it's time to act your age and knuckle down to help your team mates.
You no longer play like the superstar you were but you can still contribute in other ways.

didnt know he just had a baby, if he is a hands on dad then that could explain some of his lack of pace, but he does need to stop, think of his kids and smile when things are not going right. He did look better when direct running at brentford with 15mins to go, so more direct less tricks could work

Grab a free role. Come inside a receive the ball earlier. Head up, looking for give & go's. If you spend forever in a channel, inviting a defender to crawl all over you, then last weekend will become Groundhog Day for the rest of the season.

Time waits for no man. He's just no as quick as he once was, he's lost his explosive pace. Can he adapt his game? I'm not so sure he has the wisdom to.

So he was a clear winger. Then he played in a front three with Bolasie and Townsend, mainly as the middle man. Then he played in a two with any other. Then he played in a three on either side with big man in middle.

Pretty sure he scored the most goals all through that swap round too. Except for Lula on penalties

Can’t adapt his game is quite inaccurate as he clearly has a footballing brain or wouldn’t have made it this far. as his finishing and shooting is a million times what it was 5 years ago he can clearly improve areas via training them.

But if getting rid of the best player is a great idea to some so be it.

Let’s see how many Ayew, Mateta and benteke score for their £200k a week packages.

Know when to keep the ball moving, rather than slowing it down.

There are so many opportunities when the right option is to play a 5yrd pass and then move into space and get the
return.

Or when he feels like he’s being held, instead of laying the ball off he’ll try and fight and battle and then shout at the ref if not given.

It might be getting worse as he is feeling the pressure, but he just always looks like he is trying to prove something, that he is stronger, that he’s more skilful.

With the three new players clearly a lift: Olise, Eze, and Hughes waiting in the wings - think (or hope) WZ will relish the input and show his true qualities.
If his jubilation from Taxpayers stadium is something to go on, we are in for a treat second half of this season (with Eze back).
