Burnley and Southampton could be in the mix too.

And Arsenal

That would be nice! If they don't get a result against Norwich, they will be in full-blown panic mode.

B- Could have done better. We have recruited well at Centre back and central midfield and replaced older players with younger. However our problem has been creating goal scoring opportunities and hence scoring goals. We have recruited a promising forward and right sided winger but have not provided cover for Wilf or another right sided winger. The performance in the Papa John Cup against weak opposition shows our young players however promising are not ready for the EPL yet.

Parish gave it 9/10. Just missed one on deadline day.

Boga or that LB from PSG?

Given some thought to this one.

On balance a little worse off imo.

We will miss Andros especially, Cahill PVA Bats they are all experienced PL.

Our incomings a bit confusing as to what roles they will take, like others I think a lack of a right winger, fullback cover, a central midfielder

Just a bit light-weight compared to what we had, but lets see if PV can unscramble the confusion.

It was the LB from PSG and apparently the club were angry that he wouldn't leave as they told him to join us.

According to some well placed sources we were never in for Boga but it's difficult to know who to believe nowadays

I'd go 8/10. Unfortunately the position I think we needed strengthening the most hasn't been (full back)....but in saying that some exciting young additions!

We still have some question marks over several positions by January we will be in a better position to know what we need or if we have solved them.

- Ferguson should be fit and playing if not...
- Right winger have with solved that spot from the squad or one of the youngsters if not...
- Left back?...
- Unexpected injuries...

So as long as we have the money I am fairly comfortable no need to panic buy.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and all but I just don’t understand how some ppl think we are worse off.

We’ve shipped off a load of dead wood and big wages. Outside of Andros (and Wayne), none of our releases have stayed in the prem, most

We’ve brought in 2 energetic CMs

We might have solved the striker issue

We might have got the steal of the window with Olise

We offered a contract to Andros and he got a better offer, not much we can do about that

Cahill was offered a contract, but ended up going down to the Champs for game time.

Yeas of course it would have been good to strengthen other positions, but what were you expecting, we buy a completely new first 11? Get real.

The only mistake I think we made was not keeping PVA (I haven’t heard that we offered him a contract)

If the new forward doesn’t jump for headers, chase a ball and scores no goals then he will be on par with Batshui last season.
