Being a dinosaur without a smartphone, are CPFC emailing printable tickets as per the Brentford match?

I've received no information from CPFC regarding the situation.

Would some kind soul tell me what is happening?

See my post of 25th August in the "New Ticketing System Using Mobiles" thread. But I've heard nothing since then.

Just emailed the club as nothing received yet. It really is a bit amateur that 5 days before a match we still have no tickets.

“My experience of life is that it is not divided up into genres; it’s a horrifying, romantic, tragic, comical, science-fiction cowboy detective novel. You know, with a bit of pornography if you’re lucky."

Response received from the box office just now:

"All season ticket holders will be sent an email within the next few days regarding how they will be entering the ground this weekend and this will include the downloadable ticket also.

It will either be an e-ticket similar to the Brentford fixture, or it will be a digital season ticket that you will download to your mobile wallet and scan at the turnstiles every home match.

An update should be sent out to you by Wednesday, so please look out for this email."

Not much use for those without a smart phone I know, but I guess keep an eagle eye on your email.

What a complete and utter, disgraceful shambles.
We're approaching the second home game of the season, and the club can't, or won't, give any clarification on the season ticket situation.

Totally agree! They said they were taking into consideration those like me whom don't have a smart phone when they emailed me a while back. I was hopeful that would mean having a plastic card again but I haven't heard anything since.

I'm actually away for Saturday's match as on holiday.
In past years when that has happened I've been gutted but this year I'm really non-plussed about missing the game as fed up with the club messing me about over first the E400 situation and now this! Which is a shame.

This whole situation is a complete disgrace. It really is the worst to date, making me feel anxious and somewhat stressed. After over 40 years, seriously thinking about giving up on the season ticket. Its a shame as however good or bad the football is I still really enjoy going to matches but just cant put up with this rubbish.
