What's the odds on that?

I have to bet through BET365, because of some company's not available, so on there scale it works out about 80/1

Trent can't (or at least doesn't) defend, so Wilf should get some joy on the left. In Edouard we also have a very quick striker suited to the counter. If we're too passive Liverpool will crucify us again, but if we are a bit more careful and confident in possession (especially in front of the back four) and try and attack Liverpool then we have a chance. Ward and Mitchell will have to play out of their skins mind.

Building on the momentum of the last few games I'm going to go for a plucky 1-1. Dare I say another goal for Edouard? I do dare say.

given how sloppy they were against Milan today i fancy our chances.

OR could be like the Man City V Richmond result in the FA cup semi final recently.

Going 2-2

Mitchell and Ward will be busy of course but think the battle will be won or lost depending on how Gallagher and Macca get on against Fabinho et al. If we can win enough ball high enough up the pitch then I can see some joy in it for us.

I also put a tenner on us to finish top 10, we were second favourite's for relegation then, got 12/1

Liverpool aren't all that at the moment - the return of VanDijk hasn't shored them up in the same way as it did when he joined. not sure why, but as last nights game showed, they are vulnerable.
What last nights game also showed was that their attack is still as frightening as ever, and will be hard to stop.
Can't see a clean sheet for us, so then it's all about how much we can get at them. Zaha+mitchell vs TAA+Salah could be the key.
We're are though, a very different prospect to last year so they may not be prepared for us fully. here's hoping.

Think they'll nick it 3-2 or 3-1, with a late goal included.

I don't agree a team like them are ever unprepared for anyone. They have vast teams analyzing everything in minute detail.

That said, they fielded an odd team last night and just about got away with it. Could it be they were saving their best XI for us? If so, talk about a compliment and a further testimony of progress under CPFC 2010.
