Kick n rush is the best way to describe that 1st half.

Nervous on or off the ball, defence shaky, attack greedy. Our 'keeper Owen Goodman has kept Palace in it, Jaydon Raymond, who scored could've scored a 2nd but was too interested in doing step-overs in the box instead of having a 'pop' or passing to better placed team mates.

Typical 'kids' game so far if i'm honest, tho i expect a marked improvement in the 2nd half. A fair few scouts there today, maybe that's distracting the players.

Not much to add from the 1st half apart from the fact that Palace are unbeaten & Soton were the only other side till today that were as well.

Funny listening to Mark Bright going mental at the ref for all the challenges that were going in & we should've had a penalty, the ref didn't pull out any cards till the 78th min.

A robust, kick n rush game . . . Oh, & 3 welcome points.
