Best thing about tonight was seeing Vieira down on his knees at the end bashing the ground. Shows his competitive spirit. In other words he is expecting us to win at Arsenal with two of our best players out. Shows just how far we have come under him in 8 matches. Plus our football is a joy to watch. Even Gary Neville was waxing lyrical about us. PV what a find. The double training sessions are working. But will the players tire when other teams are fresher?

As others have said, we had luck, and for once, a referree on our side. But, one thing did interest me, and it was their goal celebration. To me this is a clear sign that we have become, in just 8 league games, a PL team to be taken seriously. We are no longer a pushover and regarded as the underdogs. And was a lol point to make at Arsenal fans today. They admitted the embarrassment of celebrating a draw like they’d won a cup.

Mine is that he made a mistake in bringing Tomkins on. But as you rightly say, it's fine margins - if we had held out at 2-1 we would have been applauding another masterful substitution ! Agree , some people can be over sensitive. It's not bashing it's just making valid points. I thought the subs were strange yesterday and also v the scum to be honest. PV's comments afterwards were also slightly puzzling in that the 5 at the back was to stop Tierney coming forward on the left - maybe he should have told Ward that as he was completely unmarked when he hit the bar. In both games when we have conceded late we have time wasted terribly and our passing game has disappeared for the last 10 minutes. It is not bashing to make an obvious observation. If PV wants us to have more possession that needs to include the last 10 minutes too

Well said, totally agree. Hope we are mentally strong soon to come through the last couple of minutes with high pressing. Not depend on risky defending inside our own box...still, we are country miles above last season's dross and at the moment, Palace is a joy to watch.

It feels like the promotion season. There is a lot of optimism and the feel good factor is certainly in the air! The team have gelled well and they are playing well consistently. Top 10 - in November knowing that we could consolidate is promising.

Great to see so many passes that actually reach the player, we look like a city or pool , or the best passing team I have seen at selhurst, Tranmere Rovers- they came and passed us off the pitch one first game of season , back in the day! Selhurst was rocking, it was mentioned on tv, fair play.
