And sort of related - did anyone see Keir Starmer on breakfast telly this morning, when asked who he thought should be the next James Bond, he said that he looks forward to the time when a woman will play the part.

The worlds gone mad. And who'll do all the cooking and cleaning ?

I want a transgender bond with non-binary pronouns. The manager of Chelsea ladies is the worst 'expert' - I actually feel sorry for Roy Keane when he's sat next to her, but only when I'm not laughing.

Unfortunately they can put it on telly as much as they want but I doubt it will make any real difference.

Generalization, but women on the whole do not watch sport or even follow it.

Most men closely follow at least a couple of sport.

A guess, but I’d imagine that sport is consumed by 99% men. Women’s sport could be just as big if the women watched it….but they wont.

I’d completely disagree on this one, I think she knows her stuff. She’s a bit brash, but she’s smart.

So often she’ll mention something tactical (like a double pivot) and then then men keep referencing it for the rest of the game

The few women I know who are into football watch the men's game they have no interest in the wimmin.

It's the same in other sports like tennis put 2 good looking young men on tennis court and they women flock to it. As soon as the sisters come on unless it is a big game the crowd is off to the loo and to grab their strawberries and champagne.

The dimensions of the pitch is directly proportional to the speed and power to the people that originally played on it - when football was first devised. Now I realise, that in modern times, lighter balls, and stronger players means that perhaps the pitch seems smaller for the mens game.

It is a scientific fact, that generally speaking Women are neither as fast (100m world record) or as strong as men (weightlifting records). They are statistically speaking generally shorter than men.

With that in mind shouldnt the pitch be smaller, and the goals smaller to accomodate this?

When I watch womens football (which is not that often) it is noticeable that they fail to clear the ball as far, cannot shoot from same distance, and let in goals that would have been saved by a professional male goalkeeper.

Women's football is dreary to watch. I find it slow, unexciting and substandard. Credit to the girls for having a go, I'm sure they enjoy it, but I don't.

As for women commentators, the observation has been made before on here. They talk too much detail and say it in a screechy tone that is very hard to listen to. None of them speak well. It's bad enough that we have two commentators for a match, but when one is a woman I'm afraid they add little value.

What happened to Kenneth Wolstenholme and Brian Moore that's what I want to know.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I always imagined Brian Moore might be wearing stockings and suspenders while sat behind that desk, more so than Jim Rosenthal or Jimmy Hill.

we'll have to completely agree to differ then, for me she says nothing badly over and over again.

An act that was the biggest single contributor to the destruction of the ozone layer. Why do women's libbers never get blamed for climate change?

It's an outrage.

Living down here does have some advantages. At least you can see them cry.
