There is still a very good chance they will be relegated this season. There are only so many players they can sign in January to get them out of the mess they are in.

Referee's decisions suddenly go their way? Or else, it's an invite to their embassy.

That would be funny. Unfortunately though they have become one of the richest clubs on the planet. And whilst it may take a season or two i expect them (like man city) to spend big and climb into the upper end of the table. Which is a shame as it will be one less regular struggling club to keep us away from danger.

Good for Ashley, he went after the PL in court and they caved in because they were wrong.

Responsibility Deficit Disorder is a medical condition. Symptoms include inability to be corrected when wrong, false sense of superiority, desire to share personal info no else cares about, general hubris. It's a medical issue rather than pure arrogance.

According to the Middle East Eye news portal, seven of the fifteen men suspected of killing Khashoggi are members of Mohammed bin Salman's personal bodyguard.113John Sawers, the former head of British MI6, stated that in his view and based on the evidence, it is "very likely" that Mohammad bin Salman ordered Khashoggi's murder.114

In the wake of Khashoggi's death, several commentators referred to bin Salman as "Mister Bone Saw," a play on words with the initials MBS. The name refers to the alleged use of a bone saw to dispose of Khashoggi's remains.115116

Later an audio was leaked where the crown prince spoke of putting a bullet in the head of the journalist

If Mohammad bin Salman is fit to be involved with a premier league club, then whats the point of the FPLs right and proper rule

Exactly. It's an absolute joke given bin Salman is listed as the head of PIF. I genuinely find it repulsive how excited Newcastle fans are at this deal.

I think the horse punchers may be in for a bit of a shock. I read that PiF were going to invest £250m in the playing squad over a 5 year period which equates to £25m per window.

Makes me seeth when people like Shearer, Ant &Dec who have been spouting off about racism/equality all these months, suddenly are celebrating the sale of their club to a regime ( and let’s face it, the regime have bought it) who don’t give a flying fig about women’s rights or Hunan rights.
This whole deal stinks of an underhand deal with PL

But it's OK because their players will absolve themselves when they "take the knee".
