They have caught them on cctv, but not in the Park. Images prove nothing and presumably moped is stolen

They are stupid enough to commit the same crime in the same location 3 times, then they'll do it again and get caught.

I'd imagine selling a £10k bike second had would be pretty tricky and easily to trace.

I don't have a £10k bike so fortunately I'm safe. All the sporty members of HoL with £10k bikes must be quaking in their boots.

I'd also wager the same members that are outraged, are also those that hate cyclists and wish bad things upon them.

The Richmond and Twickenham Times has reported that:
"The suspects were described as black males, wearing all dark clothing on motorbikes, believed to be similar to Yamaha’s."
Who would have thought it?

I know, when the machete is the go to weapon for white collar criminals. I'm literally shocked that black criminals are threatening people with machetes or large knives. You don't hear that every day.
The Richmond and Twickenham Times are likely an EDL mouthpiece and should have already received thousands of angry tweets from disbelieving BLM and Antifa supporters.

I used to put the manager's name in front of Red and Blue but got fed up with changing it. If someone cool becomes our manager then maybe..

Red and Blue Army!

Far from it. Everyone's celebrating diversity.
And you're right, no one ever gets attacked for less than thousands. You're totally safe.
It's probably right wing members of this site blacked up with machetes as they hate cyclists so much. That's entirely plausible.

So under Sadiq Khans new tube map, Richmond Park can now be renamed "Diversity bike theft Park"

Amazed that something so basic as skin colour is now omitted from some crime reports. To stand a better chance of catching the culprits you are narrowing the search by quite a bit by adding to the descriptions.

You would think that but my old boss was a Triathlete he had 4 bikes stolen from his home over several years they cost £4k plus and were never recovered.

Each time a bike was stolen he increased security but it didn't matter what he did these guys knew how to get around it and where to sell it.

That's right, if the suspects were white, you could rule out over half the population of London.

Half of all our knife crime is now committed in London.

This whole topic just highlights how little the plain truth matters today. Indeed, it's all about a form of language that fits what the powerful want.

The reality of today is the consequence of what was accepted yesterday.

Definitely tipped off by the bike shop.

Quite possibly but his house was under surveillance, windows of opportunity and all that.

Shame we can't set them upon the idiots driving round on their motorised scooters.

Fed up with having to get out the way of a a**whole riding on the pavement and sounding their little horn to get you to get out of the way.

Where in the news article does it mention the attackers were 'foreign'? - that's right, it doesn't. Your xenophobia doesn't take very long to surface does it?

was it xenophobia or machete-phobia ? and are the two mutually exclusive ?

i am having visions or Freddie Flintoff and a dozen Lancashire men putting down the cricket bats and grabbing machetes.

samurai swords are often wielded by non japanese thugs. What about HEMA ? going at you with an english longbow and a boll0ck-knife ? whereas machetes ?
