I think everyone connected to that club looked pretty miserable yesterday.

Unfortunately even thought they are a mess Palace would be a massive step back. The guy starts every game, even the notion that he would come back to us is madness.

Watching the game he wasn't the biggest problem by far. Shaw (who's been alright) was terrible. Salah had him in his pocket all day.

I don't think any of them were happy today.

Have to agree, England's left back was all over the place yesterday and failed to do the basics such as mark Salah for much of the game. AWB wasn't great but is hardly Man Us biggest problem. Do feel though that his games hasn't really progressed in the last couple of years though and his pace and tackling ability is masking quite an average player. Surprised his forward game hasn't improved - as a converted winger i thought this is something that Man U would work on.

However, you can't say he's been a failure - he starts every game for them and has done since he signed

Just watched the game on MOTD. The threat all came down on the left hand side but AWB did himself no favours for almost every goal you can see him walking / trotting back as the attack unfolds.

No attempt to bust a gut to help out, if I were manager I would drop him for that reason, lack of effort.

He is a manure fan. Always was.

Yep, OK, but I still reckon he would be happier and enjoy his football more if he was playing for us. Money motivated his move away.

Wilf is an Arsenal fan (apparently), but he knows that Palace fans adore him and that means more to him than just being a member of the Arsenal squad.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

Not sure you can say that Money motivated his move away......I'm sure that helped. But also not dossing around at the bottom of the league, playing for one of the biggest clubs in the world and the club he supports might have also played its part eh!

Lol, Wilf has tried to move every season, so don't give me that tosh. The only reason he hasn't moved is that Arsenal haven't offered enough cash. If Parish accepted a bid from them in Jan. Even in the state they are now, he'd be gone in a flash

Why do you think he would be happier playing for us, he chose to leave to play for his boyhood club that he supports. The chances of him winning a trophy and money is far higher than here.

If another team had made a decent offer, Will would have gone without a second thought.

You seem to have an old fashioned romantic view, that all our players love playing for us, they don’t it’s a job.

I've noticed the poor attempts to get back as well. If they loose the ball upfield and he is upfield at the time he ambles back. If I was his coach I'd be on his case. Never really shows much emotion either, which can translate to some as not caring. If they got Conte or Zidane I could see him slowly being eased out with a better ball playing upgrade. he only got to that fee because MOTD sung his praises week after week. A good fullback in the right type of set up but not good enough for the really top teams who want thinking intelligent ball players.

Why anyone gives a fuck about any other club or their stupid players is quite worrying for me.

A bollocks club got thrashed by another bollocks club, that's all that happened.

The funniest part of this thread is somebody actually saying they wouldn't have AWB over Ward..
