I had my first pfiser jab on the 25th August. I've been having a achey and numb arm since then and I am due my second vaccine today. Is it normal to still have side effects? Anyone got any advice whether they think it will be safe enough to have the second one today even though I'm still getting a achey arm? I'm not sure if this is normal..

For just about every vaccine side effect that's been noted, actually getting covid results in far greater likelihood of experiencing these same symptoms.

You should make sure the medical staff are aware of these symptoms, if they have any doubt they will not give it to you. You should have seen you GP* about this some people might feel a bit unwell for 2/3 days but not this long.

Of course it maybe unrelated.

*Figure of speech of course you have more chance of "seeing" the pope then a GP

Many people have side effects for a couple of days but it isn't normal for them to last for two months. Personally I wouldn't have then second jab until you have spoken to a doctor

I had side effects similarly from the Moderna jab - so you're by no means alone. I was in bed for maybe two weeks after first jab. The numb arm, aches (not only in the arm, still get them now), the other arm went numb. When I told them before getting my second jab, they didn't give a shyte. I had basically no side effects from second jab, however. Going mad on the piss drastically reduced my side effects from first jab, if that helps.

Over the years I can remember a few occasions where a course of antibiotics either got delayed or finished a day or two early because of a big night out on the razzle

Sounds like you had a right nightmare. It makes me wonder what would've happened if you had covid first, rather than the vaccine.
