In a spare moment this afternoon, I asked in Ladbrooks for the odds offered for Palace ending this season in the top ten. I was offered 15 to 8. COYP

We have also moved in the right direction on the relegation odds checker table. At the beginning of the season we were hovering around the 3rd or 4th most likely team to be relegated (in the bookies collective opinion). We have now climbed to the 9th most likely team for the drop and are anything between 12-1 and 18-1. Happy days. The way Vieira and our new recruits have hit the ground running and transformed our style is truly amazing. Im sure I'm not the only Palace fan that is no longer worried on the relegation front.

Good job I backed them when they were still 5/1, then. However, that was after the win at Man City. Before Man City, another poster was encouraging us back them at around 10/1. I decided to wait until after Man City - big mistake!

Relegation worries are a way of life for us,let's get 35 points with a dozen games left and then i'll breathe easier.We have yet to get through winter and the long roll call of players in the physio's room.
