HS2, signed off by Sunak, has cost 8 billions so far from the 44 billions allocated.

So scrapping it makes sense.

Trouble is it's seen as a contributor toward the net zero target.

'Tories hand shipbuilding contract to Spanish-led bid in 'stab in the back' for UK'.

Brexit means brexit.........

I didn't contest the UK inflation rate.

However, the truth requires context and unfortunately you weren't first, second or indeed even at the races.

There are questions...

I would say that there are reasonable doubts about the wisdom of green lighting it initially.....for me, the time, cost and technological method deserve criticism and scrutiny.

There will be a benefit to the system.....however how much bang per buck it is....for how long will that benefit last with new technologies?.... Have our best minds really got the right answer on that? I don't know.

However, I imagine scrapping it now would come at massive extra penalty cost.

The Tories, and indeed Labour have been off loading British industry contracts to foreign companies since Thatcher.....it's hardly Brexit.

It's free trade....how sensible it is....that's a valid argument.

The more I hear about the 'net zero target' the more it feels like it's going to refer to our bank accounts.

Your rubbish might fool those that didn't watch PMQs but unfortunately for you some of us did. Dominic Raab did quite well in the circumstances whilst Rayner didn't so much as ask questions but she just ranted. I suppose that's the problem when you have a deputy leader foisted on you by your trade union masters.

The stupid woman seemed to forget that the citizens are in financial difficulties and preferred to rant about irrelevancies.

Jacob Rees-Mogg certainly made the woman look rather stupid
