Far right, why do you say that?
A lefty term used to describe a Tory voter. So wanting to question immigration policy is far right ? I don’t personally agree with mass immigration either so I’m going to sort out my white cloak, peaked hat and nazi badges and flags.
Goner be a busy weekend cleaning and ironing.

So the CONservatives are goint to windfall tax the Eenergy giants after all, they should just employ a abour party adviser and get these u turns done 3 months earlier I hope you don"t have sleepless nights about it, you were one of the posters who were dead against it!

Absolute piff! He described himself as middle of the road once and everybody knew it was a lie, he does drop his guard far to many times so far right might be nearer the mark! You might notice nobody including me would describe an ardent tory like Spiderman for example in the same way, some people have the ability to communicate without being condescending, like Spider for example, others try and insult. gives them some strange power, no idea why!Don"t forget to shine your boots!

And nobody mentioned immigration, not him or myself- so why did you?

I cannot understand why this Government is being allowed to continue. It is not fit to Govern, in my opinion.
Making life-changing decisions for a population whilst pished on expenses alcohol.
They have got it badly badly wrong, whilst making personal fortunes from interests in arms companies, drug companies (PPE companies ?) and fuel companies. Much of it not even subject to UK tax, apparently.
I can only hope Starmer is keeping his powder dry for a killer blow, because at the moment the Governments worst critics are its own MPs.

People not allowed to be with their closest relatives whilst they die, because they were "doing the right thing."

But it's OK to get pished with work colleagues to say "Best wishes for your new job"

Am I the only person so f-cking incensed by the sheer madness of this Government (whatever party you support), that I would happily join a mob to see these idiots strung from lamp posts. ?

The voice of reason Forest, the voice of reason! But when you have people dead against a windfall tax on the energy giants on here, you can see hurdles we face

I quite agree with post however I am staunchly opposed to the notion that 'anything else would be better', and careful here to be succinct in saying that is not my summary of your post or my assumption of your thinking, it is a separate point and why I highlighted one single part.

My despair is not inspired by a Conservative government atm. It is is driven by a Conservative government completely incompetent and spitting in the faces of so many with only the school weirdos as equally if not potentially more dangerous alternatives. It's the old 'would you rather'... when the logical answer is 'neither'.

Agree entirely - the people pretending this government are like any other and just run-of-the-mill politicians are either not paying attention or so thoroughly lacking in principle that they just don't want to admit it.

There are major inherent flaws with our political system, and there is an obvious issue that the type of people attracted to the seats are rarely the best suited, and yes the opposition are a long way from inspiring, but even acknowledging all of that, this government have gone far beyond anything I've ever seen.

Genuine question; at which point would you be?

Because this is by far the worst government I have ever seen in my life, by a considerable distance - how much worse could an alternative be? What would that look like?

Nail on head! The thought that anyone, anyone at all would be worse than this corrupt, thieving . thick bunch in the cabinet led by a donkey is absurd, its death by a thousand cuts, but hey, whats the alternative?

No I think that is a fair point and q.

Perhaps not very well articulated by myself. To be accurate, I would say I have no political allegiance, especially these days given that there is very little ideology left in Politics.

It may be more accurate to say:

Do I want Boris and co. to continue? Absolutely not

Do I think Sir Kier and 'friends' could do better? Absolutely not.

That was what I was getting at, that's the despair. It really is the choice between suffocating and drowning for me. I don't think just saying 'Boris out' without somebody or some body to believe in is enough. I guess I just hate the practice and mindset of people who think it is sufficient to just moan and snipe at those in power, it's only valuable when logical solutions are presented in tandem.
