I would have been happy with a draw before the game as Burnley is never an easy game.
I would just prefer it was so nerve wracking!
We missed Jmac for sure - Luka just not as good.
However - a point hard earned and well deserved

Zaha should not be untouchable... he was awful today and should be subbed when playing that badly

Olise surely on his way to a staring place. What a player. Future looking bright we are a joy to watch. Apart from some defensive mishaps that is.

In the end I'm happy with the draw. Strange though that we can keep consecutive clean sheets against Man City and Wolves but flounder in defence against Burnley.

Taxi indeed, 4 -1 now

We are 2/3 weeks from playing them just enough time to get a new manager in and turn it around. I would love to play them now.

Too many defensive errors today should have been out of sight by half time, at the end I was glad of the point.

I reckon you'd win!

Unlike many of our draws this season I think we can be happy to take a point. Burnley had obviously targeted it as a game they had to try and win and while I thought we were better first half the reverse was true in the second. Thankfully not many teams play so directly. A much scrappier game and that, I think, was credit to Dyche for disrupting our game.

Ward needs to be a bench player at this stage of his career, he looked awful today.

And please, no more Ayew. If we're winning late, Ayew is a good sub, but he adds nothing offensively. We score 3 goals, and he was invisible in all of them.

And if I remember correctly, Burnley's second goal came from a sequence where Ayew gave the ball away cheaply in his own end, then it goes out for a corner, then they score.

2017 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Middlesboro
2018 Jan. (Sako) Palace 1 - 0 Burnley
2019 May (Batshuayi, Batshuayi, OG, Van Aanholt, Townsend) Palace 5 - 3 Bournemouth
2020 Feb. (Van Aanholt) Palace 1 - 0 Newcastle

That was the first goal but yes I agree

It's pretty simple. If you defend as poorly as we did then you won't win games so I guess a draw is a good result based on that.

Zaha was poor today. Gallagher looked knackered which isn't surprising.
I'm hoping that Andersen just wasn't at 100% as I thought he was dreadful today.
Great save by Guaita at the end.
At the end of the day we didn't lose which is the main thing.

We have to sort out our defending at set pieces though. I thought maybe it was down to bad luck at first but it's clearly a problem for us

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Happy with the point on reflection. We're a better team than we showed today. Defending the high ball today was terrible to put it mildly. Olise got himself in several one on one situations yet was reluctant to take on the opponent, a bit disappointing. Still only 2 defeats in 12, my hat's off to PV.
