I think that the Maxwell ' Guilty ' verdict has probably cured Prince Andrew's inability to sweat.

That's why she will either walk by appeal.
Or hang herself in her cell whilst under 24hr guard or a fellow con will happen upon a knife.

The latter. The former can’t happen

I have to say I was surprised to see her convicted on five of the six charges, interested to how she ends up being sentenced but I think given the public interest the judge will feel pressured to give some hefty jail time.

What will be interesting to see now is how the story develops if at all... The front pages today certainly give an indication this story will run - if there is one thing the papers love more than protecting the powerful it's selling papers and they know this story sells, regardless of where people sit on the political compass.

Ultimately I think Maxwell will play her dutiful role to the end though and failing an appeal will just take her time and keep quiet, which is obviously ultimately a shame.

Listening to her entitled brother this morning he believes (without irony) that she will win her appeal partly because she was held on remand and was thus not at her best as she was tired.

Can you imagine this becoming a precedent? Sadly it would only apply for wealthy defendants and not the huge largely poor masses awaiting trial.

The jury believed the evidence as presented, so unless the judge mislead them, I'm not sure what the grounds would be.

It's usually the same reason everytime.....so the blood sucking lawyers can earn more money.

Where there's money, there's an appeal.

We're the jury in the public eye?
If so would that have swayed their decision.

I think she's guilty but I can't help but feel that it's basically a 'guilt by association' verdict.

I doubt that there is any actual beef that convicted her.....I reckon the evidence is out there but that it's in the hands of those not willing to provide it....for various reasons.

If it was an actual 'guilt by association' verdict then its ripe for contest in my opinion.....though I have to admit that I don't want this case to go away because I want someone with balls to get to the truth of this whole disgusting pile rather than it fade away.

Maxwell and Epstein are likely the tip of the iceberg.

Without wishing to undermine the importance of ensuring every child is loved and cared for so much they never even think of running away from home, let alone being forcibly removed, this extract from the referenced article needs to be considered to put it in some context:

"How many missing children are found? And how soon after going missing do they return home?

90% of children who go missing are found within 48 hours, and the vast majority return home unharmed."
