Roy will be pleased they didn’t lose yesterday, but another 17 draws and they will only have 32 points which won’t be enough so they are going to have to win a few. The games against us will be massive and I’ll be honest and say I’m not looking forward to them.

Watford with 20% possession, one shot on goal, Watford win 1-0.

I remember a game when Palace beat Watford 1.0 with no shots on goal -

The Royball style has been introduced to Watford and their long suffering fans.
Good luck to them and wonder if he will last for the remainder of the season with this favourite tactic.

Already some asking if we will set up to be more attacking when Sarr is back and at home rather than play 4 central midfielders across the middle .

I’d put a good prediction on a 0-0 v Brighton (sorry !) this weekend tbh.

to be fair to Roy, he sets a team up not to lose.

Only a couple in, but they look more solid and only conceded a complete fluke against West Ham.

Not nice to watch, but is efficient

Oh yes we know it won’t be pretty and it’s nice to look defensively competent but we do need to win games I guess .

Not that I think I it will make any difference really .

Doesn't look great for Roy.

0-2 home defeat to Brighton.

He needs wins and they are not going to magically appear.

Royball works well when your team lacks talent and your budget is constrained.

Watford will bang out many draws, and they may get to put pressure on Newcastle and Everton.

With respect I disagree.
I foresee Newcastle and Everton improving and putting some distance between them and Watford.

PROBABLY correct. Watford are doomed.

Yes, i think the bottom three are sorted, only Brentford could alter that, probably 32/33 points enough to stay up this year.

Yeah Allerdyce was manager.
We had no shots on target in the 90 minutes in 2 consecutive home games against Watford and won both.
That 1-0 thanks to Deeney OG and a 2-1 the following season under Roy when Bakary Sako and McArthur scored in injury time!
