I thought PV was saying just the other day ,our young players need that bit of experience among them.. that doesn’t fit with Benteke, out Nketia, in. £ 12 mill would be good money for him. But it will cost all of that just to get a risk in. having seen a bit of Nketia, IMHO, he would have Ito improve, to improve on Benteke. This would look like better business for Burnley than us. He will get the crosses up there.

I can see no way he will go to Burnley. He won’t want to move at this stage of his career for a relegation fight. We still need him and even if they offer what we want Benteke will not want to go. In addition we still need him in the absence of forward signings so the club won’t be upset if he refused to go. But what do I know it is just what I think and he will probably be gone by next week. Any depletion in the quantity and quality of the squad will affect our league position.

We have built it up steadily and can field a quality team whereas before it was often a struggle.

I can't see any benefit in a move for CB to a possible relegation rival.

I can, We get rid of a lazy player who misses sitters (shhhh, don't tell Burnley) and we get £10m to use elsewhere. Win win situation!
