It’s true - someone mentioned in earlier he falls in between - Wright/bright era and. Dougie/ Morrison / AJ era so gets overlooked. He was a very very good striker who scored goals from nothing and different types of shots, headers and tap ins. I do feel sorry that he doesn’t command more respect or nostalgic romantism from the fan base as I remember watching games knowing that he would score and provide some excitement and reasons to look forward to watching palace on a game day.
