Barkley would be good for us but we can't loan him and I doubt we'd buy him, plus he seems to struggle with niggling injuries. If Ali rediscovered his peak form he would be a fantastic signing, but something is not right with him in terms of attitude. There is the chance a person of Vieira's stature could address this, but it would be an expensive risk.

Neither for me thanks. Does not fit our set up, or recent transfer approach. Both have lost it, and were overrated to begin with. Dele Ali also has a problem with his attitude - Charlie big potatoes with all his hangers on, and we have already got one of those to resolve.

Not either from me.

Dele Alli should be avoided at all costs by any club. Always seems lazy on the pitch to me and not all there off the pitch.

Barkley is even more of wasted talent. He could have been a stellar player but seemingly for different reasons (injuries, attitude) never fulfilled it.

No, no and thrice no

According to the bbc, we never have had any interest or contact about Alli. Good.

Why? Van de beek probably picked Everton over us as it meant he wouldn't have to move house. Perhaps Alli would choose us over Everton for the same reason

Yea i dont think so . Money is a great motivator.

Sky are saying Alli will cost Everton, potentially, £40,000,000.

think Dele is worth looking at if the Manager believed he could work with him to get him motivated and playing his best football again. Big IF.

The other one I'd chuck into the mix is Lingard. Quality player, did wonders at Wet Spam last season and was loving his football.

£10 mil after he’s played 20 matches so it’ll be interesting to hear the rest of the structure of this deal. It’s a 2.5 year deal. Will the payments only be due during the 2.5 years? Will they become public as he reaches those appearances? A lot can happen and change from now at Everton, and with Lampard, or anyone really. And not a lot could come from Alli. I wonder how they protect themselves financially on his wages with a lack of application. I guess they can’t. Football clubs rarely have for years since huge money has been involved.
