Why do rugby teams so often kick possession away when they are 'that close' to winning? Wales - 6 points ahead and 90 seconds from victory - stole an Italy line-out in their own 22. Instead of going through the plays and keeping possession until full-time, they aimlessly boot it upfield only for Italy to catch it and run it all the way through for a try.

I watch teams do this time and time again. It's madness...although I admit I haven't stopped laughing yet!!

So glad Italy won and Wales are very average. The ref won it for them last year. Found out this year.

I thought Italy played very well against Scotland last week too.

In my opinion the general standard of the whole six Nations is poor. I guess I'm being a little hard on them considering Covid. However, the only exciting side is France, then you've got a half decent Ireland - the rest are not great. England are not a settled side and the selections are frustrating and baffling. The funny thing is though, England will be the most likely side to beat France. Hatred/ rivalry will count for a lot. France are head and shoulders the stand out side.

Combination of lack of ideas, over coaching and seeing nothing in front of them. It's a bit like when we pass back to the keeper or launch it aimlessly downfield. The tiredness factor is also there but largely there's no excuse for the pointless, frequent kicking.

England still give away too many penalties in my view.

Back in the dark ages the reaction to that sort of aimless kicking would have been something to see - mind you flogging away in the second row kicking wasn’t a problem for me.
Nice moment at the end when Adams gave his man of the match award to Capuozzo.

Such an open game - anything could happen here.

Dad and I watched games standing on the muddy slope of the Holmesdale Road end. He cheered and I rattled.

I wouldn't watch it, just delete it and take her out for dinner.

Two interesting moments - Scotland’s try and some possible foul play where the TMO asked Wayne Barnes to check his decisions. He watched them again, justified his choices and stuck by them. On the second occasion saying to Sexton “if you’re not happy then speak to me after”.
How different to the way VAR works.
