New Main Stand - Presented 50 months ago !!!!!

This stand is not happening in the current climate, costs have shot through the roof since it was priced up.

I sit in the Main Stand and am 6ft 4ins r. Fortunately, my original ST seat was next to one which was unoccupied for all but 1 game during that season, so I was able to sit at an angle and be reasonably comfortable.

I have since been fortunate to move to Row 16 which has extra leg room because it used to have a barrier at the front of the step. I now don't even have to stand up when people want to go past!

Im also over 6ft and the lack of leg room really became an issue as I got older . Its all right jumping up and donw and squeezing into seats when your 20 but when the arthritis is playing up in your 60's its not funny .

 

And we still need a striker

our Stadium is barely adequate for The Championship. There are even clubs in League One that dwarf us.

on the one hand this upsets me. On the other hand, our shyte ground is like that basement dojo in Fight-Club. Bloody, sweaty and manly.

Feck yer Ricoh Arena with its wifi, Cappuccino and comfy seats. A bunch of tourists.

Apparently we are applying to make a CPO from Croydon council to buy bit of land blocking new stand but will have to provide new planning according to the athletic online paywall mag

I'm looking forward to all those who said it would never happen kneeling before the great HOL council and apologizing for their cynicism when the work begins.
