Despite it being not that long ago, referees having been upping their prices at an astonishing rate yearly to the extent it’s difficult for even the bigger clubs to ensure success these days. Refereeing decisions are nothing short of extortionate now and have not been altered to accurately reflect the effect of Covid on the economy.
