That unpredictable element. Remind you of Bolasie in his prime?

Everything is so much more measured though - Bolasie looked unpredictable because he was playing off instinct, whereas Olise is very deliberately unpredictable.

He seemed more relaxed and smiling with his teammates at Molineux, guess he is feeling the respect from Zaha and co.
Would not be surprised a bit if anyone offer 100 mill. for him in a year or two - he is that good.

Agree... He has a huge future ahead of him... Lots to learn still but he is going to be some player..

Don't waste your time with jealousy. Sometimes your ahead, sometimes your behind, the race is long. But in the end it's only with yourself!!

Agree - my Liverpool mate said we must have good scouts.

I pointed out the same to him. Similar with Guehi and Andersen - you would have to be blind not to notice their performances last season.

I suppose the big challenge is getting them to sign

Exactly, our buys have hardly needed scouting. But they have needed to be assessed for fit and convincing to join.

The more you do it the easier it gets I guess. e.g. talking to Plange and saying look at our team, Guehi, Olise, TM (Eze last season) we give the kids a great platform to show their talent to the world, come and join in.

Not as good examples, but with Wilf, AWB, Clyne etc we're also demonstrated that we can help them get a move to the big boys.

I echo what others have said about him, what a fantastic first season in the PL.

I hope that we can keep hold of him for another season rather than cashing in. Thankfully we don't appear to need to sell anyone which means only silly offers should be considered.

It's 106 miles to Chicago, we got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark... and we're wearing sunglasses.

Definitely very silly. Much sillier than what we got for AWB.

Does anyone think that if he put his mind to it he could become as lethal with direct free kicks as that nice man from Southampton?

I know he isn't, but i think he will get some game time towards the end of the season and i think halfway through next season he will be our first choice LW

Apparently he has a 35m release clause in his contract, which if true probably means he's off in the summer. That's peanuts for a big club for a player with his potential. The only hope we might have is that he sees us as the best place to gain experience for another season.

Even if this is true, how much we get for him will depend on how many of the big clubs go after him. There could be interesting bidding war.

I don’t think it will. The big six could all meet the £35m release clause and then it’ll be who offers him the biggest wage package or who impresses him the most.
