What's fairness got to do with any of this.

So what's your explanation for the rise of figures like Hitler and Putin?....not that I equate the two.

If it's not the accepted versions of how these things work what's your take on it?

Happened in Afghanistan. Was a time late 80s early 90s when us westerners could visit a border town and pay to fire an RPG, a Kalashnikov, hurl a grenade or, for a bit more money, a stinger. That was the nice part of the consequence of excess ordnance. The less nice was played out through the decade and into the next.

For me, the eighties was the best decade in several ways.

I never considered that to be one of them.

Hitler, Stalin, Franco, Mussolini, Salazar, Ceausescu, lenin, Mao-Tse-Tung, Hoxha, Pol Pot, Idi Amin, Saddam Hussein, Kim Jong-un, Alex Ferguson - all the fault of those wicked Western democracies and the great devil, the USA.

That's not an answer to what was a genuine question.

I get it, I've annoyed you.

Still personally I'm not going to take against you over some disagreement over how Nato was run after 91.

I don't think anyone could ever accuse me of being anti western because I differed on policy direction.

It appears that two russian nuclear bombers entered Neutral Sweden's airspace in early March supported by 27 fighters!!!! Yes that is ENTERED! Sweden's response was a little slow and by the time their fighters arrived the russians had turned tail.

It appears that they also had a live nuclear payload!!!!

This how how 'peaceful putin' treats neutral countries.

putin did this deliberately because Sweden now wishes to join NATO.

Thus the looney can cry about NATO expansion again.

Had the pr!ck done this with the UK those planes would now be at the bottom of the north sea in bits and we would be another notch closer to oblivion.

Anyone who supports the actions of this tyrant should be sitting on the bed next to him wearing an identical straight jacket!!

Basically I think those people, and Putin, are evil, capable psychopaths who get to their positions of power due to many factors. Sure they exploit the situations they find themselves in and Germany was ripe for Hitler. Don't follow leaders, watch the parking meters. As for NATO, Putin knows they are no threat to Russia unless Russia itself threatens NATO, it is just one of his excuses along with the Ukranians are Nazis.

Fake crisps. Crisis actors.

Russian military didn't even set foot in Ukraine. And 9/11 didn't happen. The towers are still there.
