What I will say about Matthau though is that he's always come across like a decent, affable fellow. He's one that doesn't seem to be fueled by immense anger and hatred. Politically that is all too easy to hijack, and we see what it results in. Detachment from anything outside of online hobbyist style allegiance to those with the same emotional and social shortcomings. 'Normies' need not apply.

You're well meaning but there must come a point where latching onto any idea going that is some kind of mad conjuring detached from reality is concerning in terms of what it may mean. You've been routinely propped up by those who your off kilter narratives are useful as its not the status quo, but not for your own health I can assure you. Also, ideas that physically people aren't who they clearly are, and are 'actors' is a worrying mindset to find yourself in.

Aside from that, with the amount of Ukranian kids that have been 'adopted' into Russia over the past few weeks, I can only think that these ideas that Putin is cleaning up human trafficking are put out there specifically to muddy the realities. It's no surprise really that heavily pro Russian sentiment during their invasion of another country lends itself to descending into a miriad of conspiracy based takes though.
