Nordstream 1 & 2 have both very clearly been sabotaged.

Makes absolutely no sense Russia would do this, this was their biggest leverage over Europe (particularly Germany) for this coming winter also Russia could simply turn off the gas & not risk a submarine being caught in NATO waters.

Then there is this video of Joe Biden

I know the whispers are that it's the US.....sitting at our keyboards we can only speculate.

The normies won't get it but all the underlying themes and motivations would make sense.

Whispers? LOL. This was the US (and possibly even the UK throwing its hand fully in with it-potentially the driving force behind it all).

All the Russians had to do was turn off a valve. That would have been it. No more gas.

Effectively Europe is now utterly subjugated to the US. It is that simple. The 'Normies' are too f***ing stupid and cowed to acknowledge it.

And all because the Russians wanted to sell their own gas directly to Germany rather than have to pipe it through a s***-c*** country like Ukraine.

This is why old people are going to die of hypothermia in Europe this winter. In a way, there is a certain peace of mind that comes from this because there is no going back now to how things where.

This is about long-term disruption to Europe's well-being now. Not short term. There is no ending this war and returning to the old ways quickly.

This is about a new normality of Europe being at the mercy of US power supplies.

The more I consider this, the darker the consequences become. Europe is f***ed. Germany manufacturing is f***ed.

Actually, this is all beyond any comprehension now. What the f*** is going on?

I agree that this is most likely to be the US. However we always have to consider other factors at play here. Firstly we aren't in the loop but only spectators subject to propaganda from all sides. While we can make our assumptions we also have to factor in the fog of conflict which means we are ignorant to other possible motivations.

As I say, I agree that this benefits the US more than anyone else as it locks in Europe to only one approach.....and as recent elections weaken the default Russiaphobia positioning that motive could be understood.

However, if I were to think of benefits to Russia in doing this it's not empty handed....firstly the punishment of an enemy angle. Here they would be causing significant ecological cost plus significant cost to the Germany/Europe state and energy companies.

Frankly, with what I consider the gangster stealing of Russian assets this causing of cost angle would make sense in terms of lashing out.

Second would be the sowing of distrust and disquiet in Europe itself. This is essentially closing doors for the Europeans. If the Europeans suspect the US (as frankly I do) then that creates resentment and political cost. That would be beneficial down the line for Russia if new more skeptical parties are elected.

However, all that said, I think this is the US.

I doubt the US could sneak into the Baltic and do it. Last time anything like this was done it was HMS Conquerer. If the US did it, they'd probably crash a submarine first. They'd definitely get detected.
If this was NATO - it was Britain at the behest of the US.
I actually think there's good reason to think it was Russia, however, as they tend to dominate the Baltic. Obviously, will be twenty years before we get the truth - or perhaps never.
There's a lot of reasoning to be done before making any conclusions. It's kind of mind blowing stuff really. Bluff, double bluff - I'm sure you get it.

Yes, we can only speculate, however I can almost certainly tell you who it wasn't.

Germany.

Germany would have more than likely cracked this winter & gone cap in hand to the Russians for Gas, its unlikely Putin would blow his €50,000,000,000 leverage he had over Europe.

Russia can simply turn the tap off/announce maintenance if they wanted to stop gas flow.

Russian activity would be tracked in the region.

Biden has spoke publicly about stopping Nordstream.

The USS Kearsarge & a flotilla of US ships were a mere 30km from where these gas pipes were hit very recently.

Who Benefits?

The US
The Balkans
Ukraine
Poland

Who Loses?

Russia €50,000,000,000 destroyed at the bottom of the ocean, lost its leverage over Europe
Germany - No escape for whats going to happen to them this winter now.

Im convinced this is the doing of the US & its an unbelievably dangerous game they're playing, forcing Germanys hand & condemning its population to freeze this winter should ring alarm bells for the rest of NATO & this literally has the potential to tear NATO apart.

Yep, probably the US keeping its client state b1tches in line.

I've always said it, but in the history of stupid wars, this one is right up there.

Or herald the end of it. The entire war was fought on the basis that the US wanted to stop Russia supplying Europe, and primarily Germany, with gas. That has now been achieved by direct sabotage that the US can nearly contain its glee in letting the world know it was behind it.

Do you honestly think the US gives a s*** about some regional dispute in Eastern Europe?

It's over. There is no more reason for them to pour billions into Ukraine.

Well, it might take months but pipelines can be repaired.

I certainly hope you're right about de-escalation, but let's not underestimate the level of looney that now constituents the Democrats and specifically the State department.

But hey, just like the lockdowns a lot of people wanted this compared to any realistic alternative....it's life or death and riding the Tiger.....Obviously I have my fingers crossed.
