Well, let's hope your impression is right and that mine is wrong.

I just see a lack of common sense all round and the way it's going only continual escalation. Somone's going to take a big fat L now and unfortunately....and god knows I also hope I'm wrong about this it could be after millions of dead. Let's hope none of us number within it.

Low quality elites.

Agree there, the less impact it has on us Hoy Polloi the better as far as I'm concerned for now.

You say low quality, I say thick, but to-may-toes, toe-ma-toes!

Sorry, I'll also add 'spineless' for good measure.

I'm convinced that if they or their sons had to go out there and fight we would get far less of these wars.

His invincible army has been shown up for what it is (or never was)

Most of the Russia Infantry army isn't fighting. The infantry are from the republics, Wagner and the Chechens ....and the Russians are providing the equipment, artillery and airforce.

I think once they call their troops in you will far better be able to judge.

On Russian Telegram all I'm seeing is escalation, escalation and more escalation.

It's seems it's all anyone has wanted to do over this.

Feck it, I'm fed up with complaining about this madness, let's go to war then.

The referendums on the entry of the DPR and LPR into the Russian Federation will be held from September 23 to 27....After that the DUMA (Russian Parliament) votes on it, which is a foregone conclusion and then at least everyone gets what they wanted.

Russia declares Donetsk & Luhansk as territories of the Russian union, Ukraine attacks 'russian territory' perfect excuse for mobilisation.

I can't be bothered to go through the history of this when everyone thinks this conflict started in February....Whatever, it doesn't matter. If you want to think Putin is Hitler, then cool.

This is it now, people decided they wanted to see the consequences of making this the hill we wanted to die on and now that's going to happen....I think it's fecking stupid.....So I can say it wasn't me but there you go.

Sh1t will be going down....Hopefully nothing bad happens to us.

Vladimir Putin speech postponed.

I'm hearing that Putin's address will be recorded and shown tomorrow morning, "when the Far East wakes up'.
